'Heathrow Becomes Olympic Sponsor'

Heathrow Airport has become the latest sponsor of the 2012 Olympic Games. Heathrow announced the tier three sponsorship deal and claimed that 80% of visitors to the games will pass through the airport. They are considering constructing a temporary terminal to deal with the surge in passengers.

'Riot costs amount to £100 million'

The cost of the riots that have taken place in various cities across the UK has amounted to £100 million. The bill will in fact be coming out of the taxpayers money. Some of the rioters have claimed that they are 'getting their taxes back'. Little do they know that they will in fact be forking out to pay for the damage anyway, assuming they pay taxes.

'Anders Behring Breivik 'admits attacks'

Anders Behring Breivik has admitted responsibility for the attacks at a youth camp in Norway and in Oslo, the capital. He claimed that his actions were 'gruesome but neccessary'. At least 86 people have died after he went on a killing spree disguised as a police officer on Utoeya Island on Friday. This happened just hours after a bomb went off in Oslo and killed 7 others. 4 people are yet to be found on the island, they are believed to have drowned after trying to swim away from the shower of bullets. Mr Breivik said that his attacks were to 'save Europe from a Muslim takeover'
